Stephan Piotrowski received a Master?s degree in Agricultural Economics from G?ttingen University and a PhD in Rural Development Theory and Policy from the University of Hohenheim. He conducts research on land use competition, the techno-economic evaluation of novel industrial processes and market research for fossil and renewable raw materials, food and feed markets and bio-based products. He has worked in numerous projects assessing the data framework of the European bioeconomy (for the European Commission Joint Research Centre for the Bioeconomy Observatory and several other clients) with a special focus on economic indicators.
